(This blog post contains some nudity.)

2025 was something. There are some ideas I had in mind that I wish I had created, but procrastination is a bitch (I'll kinda explain in the list). Plus, I'm kinda afraid of what to do next with my independent career.

Side note: The most memorable thing I did this year was going to San Diego for a few days. That went well. :)

Anyway, here are my favorite work from this year.

1.) Mt. Diablo comic cover

This story is supposed to be made this year, but I had so much trouble coming up with ideas for this damn story. But at least I made a cool cover.

Long story short, it's gonna be a more personal tale for Eartha. This is the most difficult story I ever worked with so far! This entire year, I've been stuck in script mode...

Since I'm generous, here are some screenshots of that work. The rough draft summary is in the "Script List:

2.) Rosie: Slime Lagoon

I need to show how Rosie met the slime girl, Cordelia. I wish I had added more scenes, so that’s why this meeting ended on a premature note. Loosely inspired by the “Creature of the Black Lagoon.”

3.) Yolanda going for a swim

It’s not much, but I enjoyed drawing this anyway. Also, I need an excuse to draw the tentacles wrapping & caressing a lady…

I barely draw my valkyrie character, Yolanda, because I’m still kinda stuck on what setting she should be. I’m between a mix of “retro-futurism” with some typical fantasy settings sprinkled here & there.

4.) Stellar Moon Jump

Is it cosplay, or just a similar design (eh, mostly the former)? I don’t know, but I like it. Stella looks “stellar,” especially her glossy tights. Along with the moon in the background really added the stellar vibes (OK, I’ll stop). I might change up her outfit eventually. I'll keep the blade, though.

Inspirations/References (Character: Blade from Brown Dust 2):

5.) Eartha in a "Sonic Battle art style"

I played a lot of Sonic Battle as a young boy. Mainly because I don’t have a lot of games. I dig this game’s art style; so sharp & stylish. Way more personality than the 3D model promos (just saying). I’m not a big fan of the game’s music, though (a few exceptions). Anyway, to celebrate-ish the Sonic franchise in June, I drew Eartha in this style. It turned out good.

More outfits, but not in the style:

6.) Cordelia in a USA swimsuit

USA flag swimsuits kinda go hard. Anyway, wanna have some fun with the slime babe?

7.) Swim time with Eartha

Oh wow, another summer-related drawing. This year's pattern is bright here, but I'm not complaining. It seems I'll roll with this: Swimming is one of Eartha’s favorite activities. Mostly an excuse to hunt for fish. She really loves fish.

A couple of more:

8.) Rosie: Marina the Genie

Another Rosie comic, woah. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from this, but it turned out good & a little funnier than I first read through it. Aside from the genie girl, I would love to include more monster-like girls eventually. Maybe with more crazy shenanigans?

Very loosely inspired by "The Invisible Man." Genies can turn invisible, so yeah.

9.) Eartha: Dino Bash

I was in a rut about creating more Eartha comics, until one of my followers/friends suggested the dinosaur idea & it sparked my mind & motivation. So here's a special thanks to him. Man, I only spent a couple of months on this comic, and it was worth it.

The "Best Work of the Year award" goes to this comic!

This comic revived my morale to make comics again. I even finished that stupid “Mt. Diablo” comic script, and now I’m (stuck) in a sketch phase!

To throw ice-cold water at you, I mostly relied on references for drawing & even tracing dinosaurs because they’re (no der) freaking hard! “OH nOoo. U trACe? PWobWmAtivc! HISSS!!” Bitch, sit your ass down on the dirt & listen. I guarantee you any artist will use references in some regards. I don’t blame them for tracing the hands & feet sometimes, especially when they’re on a deadline. Of course, please don’t rely on it all the time. And don't use (Voldemort word" incoming...)-

-to make "art." It should be a tool, whenever that happens... X)

10.) Cordelia as Morrigan Aensland

Cordelia is a “self-proclaimed succubus,” which I barely use that role, uuhh, hence the self-proclaimed part. Morrigan’s iconic design + Slime Girl = Cinema. Nuff said. Oh, that white stuff is yogurt. I swear I'm telling the truth... (ᵕ • ᴗ •)

Huh, I noticed this year has been pretty wet... Yeah, that's it. Kay, bye.
