AlienAlexComics
How I got here
Welcome to AlienAlexComics. A place to see this dorky alien's (that's me) comics about odd adventures & more that comes to mind. Besides drawing, I'm over the moon with video games, walking/biking, & wondering if extraterrestrials will do something to us...
I always dream of traveling around the world, experiencing different cultures & such. But of course, I can’t, thanks to obvious limitations, especially money. So with my passion for drawing, I decided to put that wish into my comic/manga work. One of the characters I used the most is inspired by my wish.
Q & A
Q: Why are you doing comics?
A: I’m very interested in the way it presents the story & anything really. I guess I could say, “It’s just drawing an episode of a cartoon/anime in my own way.”

Q: Where & when did you learn how to draw characters & comics?
A: From 2016 to now, 90% of it was done by teaching myself via YouTube & image search. I tried college. F*** college...

Q: How long have you been drawing?
A: Since like, forever. I was nuts about Spider-Man & Sonic (still am), so that’s where I started my art journey.

Q: Do you really like comics/manga?
A: I actually like video games more than comics/manga. But yet, here I am doing the latter…
Q: What is your primary goal?
A: As of now, I’d love to self-publish my own work as an indie comic creator. However, certain “circumstances” in the indie comic space have made me question my path. Maybe I should draw ecchi doujinshi, XD. “Sex sells” as they all say.
Q: Who’s your favorite character?
A: To this day, it’s still Spider-Man. The movies, games, & animations really made him special. Plus, Peter is a relatable goober. The mainstream comic industry, on the other hand, should go & clean toilets for eternity.

Q: What’s your favorite comic/manga?
A: As of now, Berserk. Normally, I don’t vibe with dark fantasy, but something about that manga’s setting and characters really resonate with me. If you can stomach the gory & very mature topics (or you’re so unfazed like me thanks to realizing that reality is scarier & stupider than fiction), I highly recommend it! Kentaro’s art is pretty neat (RIP the Man).
"Lots of artists come up thinking that the only way they can be successful is to enter a concept industry fraught with space marines, grey, dystopian cities, and more grey. Yet indie games, creator-owned comics, and animations are thriving. How? Through the personalities and designs of their characters and storytelling."
